Welcome! I’m happy you’re here!

My name is Melanie, and I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up. I DO know that yoga, exercise, and breaking a sweat are all things I am very passionate about.

I’m a yoga and fitness instructor who loves a good savasana. I get my best thinking done when my body is in motion. I believe that the occasional bad word makes cardio a little easier.

I also firmly believe that yoga and exercise are for everyone, no matter what. Whatever your age, shape, size, health, experience…I’ve got you. There will always be a place for you at Blueberry Hill Yoga & Fitness.

    Let’s get sweaty!

    Original Hot Yoga - 26 postures, 2 breathing exercises, a lot of sweat and A LOT of healing. This is a beginner friendly class, and is truly made to heal every BODY. Mel’s first love, and still her fave to teach and practice!

    Ignite- Builds on the foundation of OHY with variations designed to deepen your practice and improve range of motion. Let’s play with our practice and have some fun!

    Yin - A seated practice that’s designed to access the underlying musculature of the body. Long holds, plus the support of bolsters and blocks help release tension held deep in the hips and spine.

    Baptiste Power Flow- A Vinyasa style yoga class meant to raise your vitality and self awareness. This practice is available everybody with modifications and advancements offered.

    Let’s get strong!

    Inferno Hot Pilates- Takes Pilates basics and turns them on their heads! A high intensity, low impact workout that’s very beginner friendly. This class keeps your heart rate variable and your mind engaged. IHP is a powerful workout, and a heck of a party!

    IHP Weights & Bands - The same basics of IHP, but we’re adding hand weights and resistance bands. The focus here is on alignment rather than speed, but don’t worry, you’re still going to get your cardio! A great intro to weightlifting basics, and a really fun way to get strong.

    Inferno Kettlebells - Here we dive into weightlifting a little deeper. Using versatile kettlebells to move mindfully, we will use swings, rows, deadlifts and everything in between for a full body workout.
